Week 6 July 15th-18th: Epic Fiber Fusion (Lap Loom Weaving & Painting w/Alcohol Dyes)

We're celebrating the movement of dyes and woven textures in this 4 day Summer Camp! Ages 7-17yrs

Rise and Shine Club (Tu - F 10am-Noon): This week, Campers dive into the colorful world of Weaving while creating beautiful textiles on a portable lap loom! Campers will learn how to warp their loom, experiment with different yarns & textures, and weave stunning patterns to make unique coasters, wall hangings, or mini tapestries! We’ll explore basic techniques like plain weave, rya knots, and fringe while designing our own fiber masterpieces. By the end of the week, Campers will take home their loom, their woven creations and the skills to keep crafting wherever inspiration strikes!

Afternoon Adventure Zone (Tu - F 1pm-3pm): This week Campers discover the limitless possibilities of Alcohol Ink Painting! We’ll learn how to work with these fast-drying, translucent inks to create stunning abstract art and bold designs on non-porous surfaces like Yupo paper or ceramic tiles. Campers will master essential techniques like blending, layering, and using alcohol to create organic textures, and ethereal effects. They'll leave with their own luminous creations and the confidence to keep exploring this dynamic medium.

🌅 Morning Fiber Fun - Extended Care Add-On (Tu - F 9am-10am):
Start your day with creativity! Our extended morning session is perfect for early risers who want extra time to weave, knit, or dye before the camp day begins. Sip, stitch, and socialize in a cozy, sunlit studio.  

☀️ Crafternoon Delight - Extended Care Add-On (Tu - F 12pm-1pm): 
Bring your lunch and keep creating! This extended midday session offers casual stitching, spontaneous fiber play, and creative socializing between morning & afternoon sessions. 

🌇 Eventide Unwind - Extended Care Add-On (Tu - F 3pm-4pm): 
End the day on a creative note! This laid-back session lets campers keep their hands busy while chatting about their projects—the perfect way to reflect, finish up loose ends, and leave inspired.  

Extended hours are only available as add-ons. Come for the crafts, stay for the community!
