Week 9 August 10th-14th: Stitch & Stuff Safari (Beginning Hand Sewing and Punch Needle)

Adventure-packed! This week campers "explore" the wild world of fiber arts by stitching their own cuddly expedition pals and creating bold designs with punch needle! Ages 7-17yrs

Rise and Shine Club (M - F 10am-Noon): Journey into the whimsical world of hand sewing! Campers will design and stitch their very own stuffed animal kingdom. They'll learn to cut, layer, and sew soft felt into cuddly 3D creatures—like friendly foxes, gentle whales, and bright birds—using simple stitches such as the whip stitch and blanket stitch. They’ll add personality with embroidery floss and master the art of stuffing for that perfect squishy feel. Perfect for first-time sewers and craft lovers alike, this camp leaves each camper with a growing collection of handmade animal friends and the skills to bring even more fuzzy friends to life at home.

Afternoon Adventure Zone (M - F 1pm-3pm): Get ready to punch, loop, and create fun textured art! This week is all about exploring the bold, fluffy world of punch needle crafting. Campers will use easy-to-handle tools and a vibrant palette of yarns to “punch” their way into textured masterpieces—think bold patterns, favorite emojis, abstract landscapes, and personalized wall art. Alongside new friends in a creative, supportive setting, campers will build fine motor skills, confidence, and artistic flair. By Friday, everyone will take home a gallery of unique, touchable creations ready to hang, gift, or show off proudly. 

✨ Extended Hours at Fiber Arts Adventure Camp! ✨

🌅 Morning Fiber Fun - Extended Care Add-On (M - F 9am-10am):
Start your day with creativity! Our extended morning session is perfect for early risers who want extra time to weave, knit, or dye before the camp day begins. Sip, stitch, and socialize in a cozy, sunlit studio.  

☀️ Crafternoon Delight - Extended Care Add-On (M - F 12pm-1pm): 
Bring your lunch and keep creating! This extended midday session offers casual stitching, spontaneous fiber play, and creative socializing between morning & afternoon sessions. 

🌇 Eventide Unwind - Extended Care Add-On (M - F 3pm-4pm): 
End the day on a creative note! This laid-back session lets campers keep their hands busy while chatting about their projects—the perfect way to reflect, finish up loose ends, and leave inspired.  

Extended hours are only available as add-ons. Come for the crafts, stay for the community!
