Knit a modern, mountain-inspired tee with a tailored fit and striking slipped‑stitch texture.
New Terrain is more than a t-shirt—it’s a thoughtful evolution. In this knitting class, you’ll learn to knit this seamless, top‑down tee entirely in the round (after the underarms), with short‑row shoulder shaping for a comfortable, customized fit. The design features clean, angular motifs inspired by natural landscapes, created using vertical and diagonal slipped stitches.
What you’ll learn & create:
· Seamless, top‑down construction
· Short‑row shaping
· How to work flat, then join and knit in the round
· The signature slipped‑stitch pattern
· Finishing techniques: naturally rolling stockinette neckline + 1x1 ribbed armholes
Design features:
· Available in a wide range of sizes
· Cropped length for a fresh, refined silhouette – plus instructions on where and how to add length if you prefer a longer tee
· Reversible design – subtle styling variation depending on which side you show
Styling tips from the designer:
Pair your finished New Terrain Tee with high‑waisted trousers, a flowy midi skirt, or tailored denim. Its clean lines and slightly cropped shape work for both casual and structured looks.
