Asonde - DK Weight (Universal Yarn)

A luxurious 100% silk yarn with a distinctive texture spun of just the noil, which are the short fibers created when silk is combed and carded. Also called raw silk (although it's not "raw" at all!), the resulting fiber has a lighter drape than other silks, a more subtle shine, and an offhanded elegance.
Sourced from Japan, Asonde offers excellent drape and stitch definition, making it ideal for lightweight garments and accessories. Cool to the touch and comfortable to wear, it works well for everything from simple textures to delicate lace.
