Dye Hard Yarns is a small boutique yarn store and community dye studio just east of Forest Park. We are located in the heart of the Oak Park Arts District on Harrison street between Austin and Ridgeland.
We are the home of indie yarn-dyers, hand-dyers, artisans, makers and small family businesses near and far.

We love our knitters, crocheters, spinners, weavers, yarn dyers, and all fiber crafters in between. It's become our mission to help you achieve your project dreams. To build a community centered around joy, and a shared love for the fiber arts.
In our yarn store we carry knitting needles from Chiaogoo. You'll find straight needles, double pointed knitting needles or DPNs, circular knitting needles in bamboo, wood, and metal and interchangeable needles from this quality, affordable brand. We also carry Chiaogoo crochet hooks. Their crochet hooks come in bamboo, wood, and metal head with in-line handles, plus they have a line of Tunisian crochet hooks that we just love!
We have a large selection of knitting patterns, crochet patterns, and
Tunisian crochet patterns as well. Our many books, magazines and single print individual patterns are sure to capture your imagination and inspire your creativity. And we are more than happy to assist you in finding the perfect pattern for your new yarn.
Spinners will love our selection of spinning fiber. We have both dyed, and undyed natural spinning fiber for you to choose from.
We have small pop out weaving looms for those wanting to try their hand at weaving tapestries or other home décor items. These weaving looms come in various shapes and sizes.
