The boomloom MONK'S BELT pattern bar

The Monk’s Belt pattern bar for the boomloom Boss creates two weaves: a plain weave and a Monk’s Belt overshot pattern. Working together they create a fabric with a geometric pattern of floats on it. Monk’s Belt is a very old, traditional weave. It’s versatile and has so many variations by changing color, texture, and design: everything from traditional to modern. 

Slightly more complicated than our twill and diamond pattern bars because it uses multiple yarns to create the pattern, Monk’s Belt is still a fairly easy pattern bar to use. Advanced beginner to intermediate. See our how-to videos to get a sense of how it works. Like all our pattern bars it uses a floating selvedge to create tidy edges. You will have no trouble with it.
