2024 Chicago Yarn Crawl Kits and Patterns (Kitty Pride Fibers)

In May we celebrated Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander Heritage month. Inspired by a recently read book, I created the colorway "Magic Fish" to portray the past, present and fantasy depicted in the story.

The Author:
Trung Le Nguyen, also known as Trungles, is a Vietnamese-American cartoonist. He is best known as the author of the graphic novel that inspired this colorway "The Magic Fish". If you haven't had the pleasure, you should definitely pick up this wonderful and heartfelt read from your local bookstore or library.

"Magic Floral Pillow" is an on trend throw pillow worked in tapestry crochet using 1 skein of "The Magic Fish" and one skein of Gusto Wool Core.
