Yashi is a soft, papery raffia yarn especially well-suited for crafts and accessories.

Yashi Iro's painterly colors coordinate perfectly with solid color Yashi to create crafts and accessories that are true works of art.

Raffia fiber is a natural fiber. It has similar properties as jute, bamboo and hemp fibers. The raffia fiber is obtained by peeling of raffia palm leaves. Raffia is soft, pliable, strong, durable, easy to dye and biodegradable making it an excellent material for weaving baskets, hats, mats and rugs
