Mosaic Blanket

Mosaic knitting is a fun and geometrical type of colorwork that works beautifully in so many different projects.

Good Vibrations by Triona Murphy is a modern blanket that uses a slipped-stitch colorwork pattern to create eye-catching pops of color and satisfying texture without the need to juggle more than one color per row.

Materials needed:

• 420-630yards of Worsted or DK weight yarn per colors A and B, 420yards in Color C
• US 7 circular needle, 32-40” long
• US 6 circular needle, 60” long OR Two US 6 circular needles, at least 32” long (if using interchangeable needles, one set of tips can be one size smaller)
• Stitch markers
• Tapestry needle
• Scissors

Stroller: 25 x 35” [64 x 89 cm] 
Baby/Crib: 29 x 39” [74 x 99 cm] 
Throw: 35 x 44” [89 x 112 cm]

Techniques: mosaic colorwork, chart reading, picking up stitches

*Covid Compliance: Our instructors are fully vaccinated and boosted. In order to keep other customers and students safe, we require that students must be fully vaccinated and boosted and provide verification of vaccination (and booster) dates. Start date of this class must be at least 2 weeks after booster dose. N95/KN95 Masks are required throughout the class and hand sanitizer will be provided upon entry. (We will have extra KN95 masks on hand) If you have a fever, cold or flu-like symptoms, are not feeling well, or have been exposed to someone with Covid, please notify us and do not attend the session.
