Intro to Brioche
The Harlow hat by Andrea Mowry is an ideal first brioche project!
All available classes are taught via Zoom or other video media platform. Classes are held after store hours.

This hat is a perfect jumping off point for beginner briochers to try on their newly acquired skills - this hat is great for any gender or age, and the color possibilities are infinite! We all need a dependable hat pattern right?? This is the pattern I know I can depend on for stash busting, wardrobe enhancing, or a quick gift for someone I love!
- Fingering Weight in 2 colors - Approximately 30 g each
- Size US 2/2.75 mm - 16” circular
Size US 3/3.25 mm - 16” circular
Size US 3/3.25 mm - DPNs (or a longer circular for magic loop)
(Use the needle size you need to achieve gauge, go down one size for brim.)
US 6/4 mm DPNs or circular needles for small circumference knitting, or size required to obtain gauge
- Stitch marker
Child (Youth/Adult Small, Adult Large)
Circumference - 12.5, (15, 17.5)”/32 (38, 44.5) cm
Height - 7.25 (9.25, 9.25)”/18.5 (23.5, 23.5) cm
To Fit: 16-19 (20-22, 23-24)”/40.5-48 (51-56, 58-61) cm
Techniques: Two color brioche in the round, Two color tubular cast on OR Twisted German cast on, Right and Left leaning brioche decreases
$50 for 3 Sessions plus the cost of materials (Save 10% on materials)
Basic knitting skills required.
